Program Description
Prepare for your college study in a dynamic, supportive environment. JSU offers non-credit pre-university courses, and are designed as refresher courses for students who need improvement in the subjects considered essential for related first-year courses at JSU. In the end of the course, students who wish to take bachelor degree courses at JSU will have to apply for “Admission Entrance Exam for Overseas Students”. Students who score well in this exam will be admitted to the next intake for bachelor degree students.

Passport cover and a scanned copy of the passport photo page (valid after September 30, 2026). Applicants with previous experiences in China should provide scans of all documents related to Chinese visas and residence permits.

Applicants without a non-criminal record certificate may submit proof of good conduct during their time in school (only for current high school graduates).
4. Certificate/diploma of highest education
Graduation certificate in languages other than Chinese or English should be translated into Chinese or English and be certified by notarization.

Either the family deposit certificate, property certificate or parent/guardian income certificate with a recommended minimum value of $5,000 USD or equivalent.

*8. Foreigner Physical Examination Form
Applicants must undergo a medical examination following the items listed in the form. The examination results are valid for 6 months.

A self-statement of intent for studying in China (no less than 800 words), written in English. The content should include personal educational and work experiences, motivations for studying in China, reasons for selecting the specific major, and post-graduation personal development plans.
Tips:
For applicants who are in China: If you are an employee, you still need to provide employment separation certificate and your current residence permit. If you are a student, you need to provide transfer certificate, leaving certificate, certificate of attendance rate issued by previous school and your current residence permit. - Video
