Program Description
1. Objectives
Editor Notes: This program is the only one coordinates the science of Modern Pharmacy and TCM in Jiangsu Province, China.
Pharmacy focuses on the science and technique of preparing and dispensing drugs. It is a health profession that links health sciences with chemical sciences and aims to ensure the safe and effective use of pharmaceutical drugs. The scope of pharmacy practice includes modern services related to health care, including clinical services, reviewing medications for safety and efficacy, and providing drug information.
2. Requirements
Editor Notes: In the initial two years, students are required to complete general courses and in the third and fourth years, students must choose major courses.
Students admitted to the College's B.S. in Pharmaceutics Program are required to complete the general courses in the initial two years, which will equip the students with the tools of language and the basic concepts and procedures of academic inquiry needed for further study. After completing the general courses, each student must choose major courses in the third and fourth years, which are directly connected with the intensive specialization in principal areas of concentration, such as pharmaceutics, industrial pharmacy, biopharmaceutics and so on. In all the categories of general and major courses, there are required courses and electives. Upon graduation, the student must have completed investigations of graduation practice (dissertation) and other practice requirements. They are also required to have a good command of Chinese, get HSK certificate and be able to read Chinese literatures in pharmaceutical science.

School of Pharmacy, the earliest pharmacy college in all comprehensive universities in Jiangsu Province, was established in 2001 after the mergence of the former Jiangsu University of Science and Technology, Zhenjiang Medical College and Zhenjiang Teachers' College. Non-Chinese citizens who are physically and mentally healthy, possess a strong academic background, willingly to comply with Chinese laws and university regulations, and respect the customs and habits of the Chinese people are eligible to apply.Applicants should have completed high school or possess equivalent qualifications. They must hold a valid passport. 18 to 25 years old. Applicants under 18 years of age should provide a guaranty from a guardian. Applicants for programs taught in English must provide copies of their IELTS, TOEFL, or Duolingo English Test scores. IELTS scores should be above 5.5, TOEFL scores should be above 80, or Duolingo scores should be above 100.

*4. High School Diploma
The original or notarized copy of the high school diploma. Current high school graduates should provide a pre-graduation certificate issued by their schools. Upon registration, the official high school diploma must be submitted.
*5. High School Transcripts
The original or notarized copy of all high school course transcripts.
*6. Personal Statement
A self-statement of intent for studying in China (no less than 800 words), written in either Chinese or English. The content should include personal educational and work experiences, motivations for studying in China, reasons for selecting the specific major, and post-graduation personal development plans.
*7. Non-criminal Record within 3 months
Applicants without a criminal record certificate may submit proof of good conduct during their time in school (only for current high school graduates).
*8. Physical Examination Form
-Download the form template, print it, and bring it to a hospital for the required medical tests. The hospital will complete the form with your results.

-The medical examination must cover all items listed on the form.
-Ensure your photo is attached and the form is stamped and signed by the hospital after the examination.
-The medical results are valid for 6 months only.
-Forms that are incomplete, lack a final physician’s suggestion, missing the attending physician’s signature, official hospital stamp, or applicant’s sealed photo will be considered invalid.
-The document must be in English or Chinese.*9. Financial Statement
Either the family deposit certificate, property certificate or parent/guardian income certificate with a recommended minimum value of $5,000 USD or equivalent.
*10. CSCA Test Transcript(s)
